Most Wonderful Time of Year?

With the Final Four ending and baseball beginning, this brings up a serious question.

What is the greatest sports month?

February has the Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl, the NHL and NBA All-Star games and the Daytona 500.

April has the Final Four, the start of baseball, the Masters, Wrestlemania and the end of the NHL and NBA regular seasons and the start of the playoffs.

May has the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, the UEFA Finals and the Indy 500.

June has the Stanley Cup and NBA Finals, the College World Series and the Belomont Stakes, the US Open, French Open and interleague play begins in baseball (Sox vs Cubs, Yankees vs Mets).

October has the World Series, pro and college football and the NHL begins.

November has pro and college football, the NHL and the NBA and college hoops.

These are, for the most, the big events in each month. I think it comes down to April and June.

What do you think?

  1. How about September, as the baseball regular season winds down and college football and the NFL crank up? I would put April second and June third.

    Great question to pose.
